Does anyone have any thoughts about the relative merits of LeapFrog's LeapPad Explorer vs. V-Tech's InnoPad for a (near) 3 year old. She already hogs my wife's iPad, and we were thinking of getting her her own kid-friendly pad so my wife can get hers back. I know the LeapPad has the camera and InnoPad doesn't, which is a score on the Leap side, but not sure how much since I think my daughter will be more frustrated by the camera than pleased with it for a while. On the Inno side, it seems to have an MP3 player (but how valuable is that when all our MP3s are Apple) and a photo viewer (which could hook up to V-Tech's camera, apparently). And I've read that I can purchase a car charger for Inno but not for Leap, but not sure if that's true. One more possible point for Inno is that the game cartridges seem to come with an ebook and some "creativity" activities, which I don't see listed on the Leap cartridges, but maybe that's handled in a different way on Leap. Does anyone have thoughts or knowledge of these products? And is anyone knowledgeable about the relative merits and costs of the downloadable apps? Thanks.
