Where to bathe the baby?

We have an infant/toddler tub. We have been filling the tub with water and then putting it on the bed (with a towel underneath). But now DS has found out that he can splash! Chat Icon And he is having a ball doing so. I need ideas as to where to put the tub. I can't believe that I can't figure this one out! Chat Icon

We always did it on the counter top next to the kitchen sink.

Or how about inside the bathtub. Put the baby tub inside the big tub?

We used to do it on the kitchen counter but now we are putting the tub in the big tub since she is a splasher as well..it's so much fun to watch them play in the bath!

Re: Where to bathe the baby?

We did it in the bathtub, but it was hard to lean over & clean the baby. I started doing it in the kitchen sink & it's MUCH more enjoyable for me :)

We put the tub either in the kitchen sink or the big tub. Depending on whether I've had time to clear the dishes after dinner.

Re: Where to bathe the baby?

When Emily started splashing a lot we would put the tub inside the sink, it rested right in...

And when she was splashing way too much for that we moved it to inside the tub, and then finally just got rid of it and gave her baths in the tub!

Re: Where to bathe the baby?

kitchen sink always worked for me! also, if baby is sitting up on their own, just putting them in the kitchen sink works too!

Re: Where to bathe the baby?

Over the sink in bathroom( we have a vanity not a pedestal so it works with just the right amount of counter)

or in the tub itself! Chat Icon

Re: Where to bathe the baby?

I bathed my kids in the tub on my bathroom counter. I have a double vanity. Once they started to splash I moved the baby tub to inside of our real tub.
