IF your twins started off in the same room but then got their own...

My twins share the same room right now. We're most likely moving within the next couple months so they will each have their own room then. They each have their own crib and I have an extra dresser to use but what do I do with the changing table?

Also, how did your twins do once they went from sharing a room to being by themselves? Do you think they were too lonely?

Re: IF your twins started off in the same room but then got their own...

I separated my twins when they were 3, so no advice on the changing table, but they did better than I expected them to with the move. My DS stayed in their original room and DD moved across the hall. I thought she might be scared in there, but she loved having her own big girl room (we did it the same day they got beds). DS on the other hand was missing his best friend in there. He had a little bit of a hard time with it but it only lasted 2 nights.
Good luck!

I separated mine at 7mo, so they didn't really care. I kept the armoire with DD and the changing table/dresser in DS's room. I wanted them both to have a similar amount of furniture. If it is a stand alone changing table, I would just put it omen the room that is more convenient for you.

We have enough rooms for them to have their own bedrooms... but I am leaving them together until they decide to separate.

You should just keep the changing table where its easier for you to use, or in the room with more space.

Where are you moving?

We switched them at around 8 months and it was the BEST decision we made. I moved the 'louder' of the two to the further room and as soon as we did it, he started to STN.

We started with a pack and play to make sure we didn't have any problems then gradually moved the crib.

We only have 1 changing table. We left it in the room of the baby that is the earlier riser. If we ever need to change the other, i usually do it on the bed.

We are moving in the next few months as well. I am planning to keep them together for a little while after we move to ease the transition to the new house. I don't want it to be too many shocks at once. Mine are older than yours though (22 months).

I put mine in seperate rooms around 1yo and they were both fine...no issues whats so ever...

as far as the changing table goes, I just had a pad that I put on the dresser...so I just moved it to the den where we spent most of our time.

Mine went into separate rooms by 1 year and we had no issues at all. It actually helped them sleep longer. If one got up, they both got up. Now if one gets up, the other can still sleep a bit.

Separated at 2 1/2 years old.

I had both the cribs and their big boy/girl beds in the room. I would just change them on the bed.

Never had a changing table in their room. When they were babies, I just had a pad on the dresser. Changing table was downstairs in the dining room.
