Acid Reflux babies and feeding...please come in

Supposedly we should feed our acid reflux baby smaller amount but more frequently. DD is 12 weeks old and she went from taking 7 bottles of 3 to 4oz per day to 5 to 6 bottles of 4 to 5 oz per day. I feel like her schedule in the past 2 weeks are so messed up and she started vomiting again. Both feedings will equal to about 23 to 28oz per day.
I know we should follow our baby's cue as to if they want to eat or not but since she has acid reflux, should I go back to feeding her 3 to 4 oz 7 times a day so her stomach isn't overflowing?
How did you manage your LO's tummy and eating schedule so he/she's not too stuffed from the formula?

Honestly we went with our instinct/gut. My DD has severe reflux and it was also suggested to give her smaller amounts, more frequently. However, this did not work for us. DD would spend so much time taking a bottle due to the reflux that it seemed like we were feeding her all day. To me, it seemed like she had no time to digest and we were force feeding her frequently to give her the same amount of ounces throughout the day. We went back to feeding every 3-4 hours, because it seemed to work better for her. So I say, try the samller feedings more frequently and see if that works better. If not go back to 5 to 6 times a day.

We still let the baby dictate her feedings. Sometimes she takes an oz or 2 and sometimes 5 oz. I jave found she is the best indicator of how often to eat and how much. Also, is the baby on AR meds? we went to 3x a day (from 2) and have found it to be MUCH better all around.
