WW question
I'm having a hard time losing my baby weight. I need to lose about 30 lbs. I cannot afford WW in my area and I heard it really works. Is it a must to join in order to follow it or can u follow someone else's? ( I hope it's not a dumb question)

Re: WW question
Not a dumb question at all! In order to follow Weight Watchers you do need to join. You are given a daily points target for the day which is based on a number of factors (age, weight, gender, etc). Because this varies by person the only way to know your points plus target is to join.
If joining right now is not an option, why not try joining Weight Watchers online?
It is a cheaper option but still follows the plan!
Here is the link for more info

Re: WW question
Ive done WW in the past without joining. I figured why sit in a meeting when that time and money can be spent at the gym
I know going to the meetings is a huge factor in getting support and staying accountable.
There are definitely ways to follow WW without joining, there are many websites with lots of info available. (it's hard to find, because legally they cannot just post WW info "for free" if they are not part of WW.
Here's one site that has the formula to calculate your daily points. (if you google, there are more out there).
WW Daily Points
Also there are many websites with forums/message boards like this one, where you can find a buddy to keep you accountable. I came across this site a while back and love it. tons of info ! recipes, ideas, advice, etc etc. go to the WW section link
There are many "points calculators" online, google that also, and there are many free apps for phones if you have a phone that you can download apps on.
also, havent been on this site in ages, but I remember it being popular with WW stuff. restaurants, fast food places (point counts), message boards, etc. It seems like a choppy website, but it has tons of info ! link
hope that helps, good luck ! Im on the same road
