BTDT Moms: How do you freeze your breast milk?
Do you pump right into bags and through the bags into the freezer? How much do you put in a bag? I know in the beginning the baby only drinks like 2-3 oz.
Some people have been saying the Palytex DropIn system is good, they have a storage kit you can just pump milk into the liners and then freeze and thaw and feed.
Then there are theze freezer trays that freeze your breastmilk in 1 oz. sticks....
How did you freeze your breastmilk and in what?

I always pumped into the Medela 5 oz. bottles and put it right in the fridge. Then once I had enough refrigerated, I poured it into Lansinoh freezer bags and froze it. In the beginning, I only froze 4 oz. per bag, but as ur got older, I would store up to 7.

I did the same & loved the Lansinoh bags.
Lay them flat to store more.

Same here. I also pumped it into the Lansinoh bottles as well. I stored my BM in 3 or 4 ounce increments. I also made sure to store the bags in a big container to ensure there were no rips or tears in the bags from being in the freezer.
