hahaah My 30th birthday is the end of this month and my DH bought me a beautiful ring...when our jeweler said to come back for my push gift, he laughed in both our faces!
 oh well!
maybe our DH's will surprise us!

LOL... my DH was like, "we're getting a baby boy... I need to get a gift, too?". lol
My gift from DH was him being there for me and doing EVERYTHING for me while I'm on bedrest, so I'm okay with no "push gift" - except a baby!

I don't think it is silly to get a small gift from DH when you are in the hospital- I think its sweet. This is a huge moment and DH wants to get something that will have the baby's name on it or something that reminds me of all the months of hard work I put in.
I feel bad for the wives of husbands who think it is silly. But....we are all entitled to our own opinions.

hahaha seriously! im not expecting a push gift. maybe some flowers and an italian hero would be nice lol. i was talking to a friend a couple weekends ago and her husband had her engagement ring put in a new setting as her push gift.

No need to feel bad! My DH has ROCKED thru my whole pregnancy. I don't need a trinket... Just him and my baby boy!

OMG... that would ROCK! I'm sure DH will get me flowers, but I'll have to put my order in for the Italian hero while I'm in the hospital! I've wanted one for 8 months and still want one NOW!!!

eh... my DH doesn't think it's silly; rather, I'm the one that thinks its silly. then again, this is coming from someone who didn't exchange gifts with her DH on their 1 year wedding anniversary. I'm trying to think of something I'd want, but I can't think of anything... besides a bottle of wine and an italian hero.

Well we're doing bedroom renovations right now which is adding up quickly so i'd rather he not spend the money on something that I don't need. Plus we're going on a cruise in October.

I'm not asking for anything, but I can see my DH getting me something bc thats how he is. If he did not though it would not bother me at all.
