More c-section questions...
I am delivering at Winthrop, my c-section is scheduled for 5pm Does anyone know if they will let our families see the baby if I am still in recovery? Do they let anyone besides DH into recovery?

i delivered there last may. no one except your husband is allowed in the prep/recovery area - its all one area for planned or scheduled csections seperate from L&D.
they bring you back to that area after the section with the baby and after about 30 mins, they bring the baby to the nursery but will wheel past the waiting area - open the doors so family can catch a glimpse then family can go to the nursery to see the baby through glass etc.

I had my son in 08 and he was born at 11:21pm... our families were in the waiting room and they brought him out for them to see on the way to the nursery. Nobody was able to see me until the next day.
