"Pressure down there" in "normal" pregnancies at 33-34 weeks...

I'm just curious how much pressure those with "normal pregnancies" feel "down there" at this stage in the game?

I'm on mostly bedrest, but if I get up to get water, put a dish away or even try sitting awhile instead of lying down (which comes with its own aches and pains after awhile) I sometimes feel INTENSE pressure that makes me think I have to go to the bathroom, but I don't. And I just keep feeling that really uncomfortable pressure/bordering on pain until I lie down for awhile.

I'm just curious how much of these pains just come along with this stage of pregnancy and how much is due to my shorter cervix issues.

TIA!

I had it with both of my kids... I actually had to stop commuting with DD around that time because it was so bad and yet I had to be induced with both of them past 40 weeks Chat Icon

You're not alone! I'm 35 weeks today it's pretty annoying. It probably started 3 weeks ago & it's gotten worse. Sometimes I feel like the babys just going to fall out

It's definitely been worse this time around with my 2nd, but some feel it just as badly with their first. Yes, sometimes right after I get up or only minutes later I feel such intense pain I'm convinced her head is halfway out! My OB assures me it's normal... Though if you're on bedrest it probably doesn't hurt to check in with your OB about it.

That started for me early. But DS was head down and low for most of my pregnancy.. It was most uncomfortable. The only thing that helped was to prop my feet and legs up on a few pillows...
