FET Results and Current Status
I re-introduced myself about 6 weeks ago when I went back to the RE in pursuit of DC#2. I was foolish enough to think that maybe I had "paid my dues" and it would be easy this time.
On Tues., 6/7, I went for a FET and all went well. They transferred 2 day 6 blastocysts (a hatching blast and an expanding blast) that I've had in cryo since I got pregnant with my daughter in Feb. 2009. Because I'm a control freak, I started POAS the following Saturday. My faint BFP came on Monday and got progressively darker. DH and I were thrilled - and excitedly spread the news after beta #2.
Today (well, since it's 3am, I guess I really mean yesterday) at 6w5d, we went for our second sono expecting to see a heartbeat which wasn't there. Bloodwork showed that my beta wasn't where it should be and that, this time, it's over. I go back to the RE on Friday and they will give me something to speed up the natural process.
So, I lay here not sleeping, more appreciative of DD than ever and contemplating my next steps. As an act of self-preservation I rescinded the positive baby shower RSVP for this coming Saturday. Too bad I have my FIL and SMIL descending upon us on Friday from Florida for the weekends festivities. Bring on the wine - I'm gonna need more than usual to be nice to them.

I'm so sorry....it will happen again...i lot a pregnancy last year and it was awful but know you will get pregnant again.....

I am so sorry to hear that. I remember you from last time around, our DCs are around the same age.
I also thought it was going to be so easy with #2 as I had already put in my "IF time." I ended up with a chemical after using my last frozen embryos and we are now 1 day away from transfer after a fresh cycle. It may not be easy, but as we know it will all be worth it!
