If you had more than one fresh IVF cycle...
Did or do you still get nervous for the ER?
The first ER I was very nervous for... because really any time I'm being put under anestesia I get nervous- but even though I've done this once before I'm still nervous going into my second ER. You would think by now I know what to expect.......

I have done so many, i dont remember my second By now, though, no, I dont get nervous...but then again I've had 8

Yes, I got nervous for my second, but definitely not as bad as the first.

By the third I wasn't nervous at all about the procedure, but I was still super stressed about the number of eggs. With the second, I think I was still a bit nervous.

I had 2 and was just as nervous the 2nd time around. I think it has less to do with the "procedure" and more to do with the "process", if that makes any sense!!

Yes I think that's it exactly... I think a lot of what I'm nervous for is to go through this whole process AGAIN .. even more hardcore this time with the 2 lovenox a day. . the prednisone .. and then to have it not work again. I keep saying I can't handle another loss. I know if we have a loss, we will have no choice but to handle it and move forward like we did with our previous losses... but really, my heart just can't handle it right now  It's been a year of grief. We need our miracle!!!

Yes!!! I was nervous for my 2 retrieval but for different reasons. First time I think I was naive and at first I thought 24 eggs were great until I hyperstimulated - ugh!!!. 2nd retrieval I was so nervous about hyperstimming while on stims that when the retrieval came I got nervous will I have enough eggs? However, after going through it once I was MUCH less stressed about the actual procedure. I am really praying for you that this is it!!!

Yes I was always nervous before ET, but bc I was worried about waking up and getting bad news about my eggs, not the procedure itself!

The anesthesia only made me nervous the first time around. By the 2nd time, I was more nervous about everything else. Quality/quantity of eggs, getting/staying pregnant, that I did not have time to think about the actual act itself, if that makes sense.
Plus the drugs they give you BEFORE they actually knock you out, the happy stuff is greatttttttttt, so I usually tried to focus on that

Nope!!!
Had 5 fresh ERs and never get nervous....I look forward to the nap...
Since having 5 cycles, I am very predictable and know what to expect...its very easy for me as I go to work afterwards and don't even take that day of....
For me the worst day of the whole cycle is waiting for the fertilization report!! We get plenty eggs but have crappy sperm so for me that day is crucial!!
