Do you think it is a choking hazard for a 16 month old? The product DOES say 2+ but most play food sets actually say 3+ which is a large part of why I bought this one. We just got a kitchen and ds is LOVING the set.

I was surprised at how small the box was when it came. My friend w/ a 3 year old said she does not believe any of the pieces are hazards- I could always put the smaller/questionable ones away for now.

Thoughts?
