Wardrobe for LO

This is probably a silly questions, but what exactly do we need as far as clothes, and how much of everything? We're team , but Kohl's was having a big sale and I had coupons, so I bought a few boy and girl outfits. I figure I'll return whatever clothes I don't need based on what gender the baby is. So I have onesies and a handful of outfits. But what about pajamas? Can the baby sleep in a onesie and swaddle blanket? Do I need footie pajamas for a summer baby? Baby will be in our room, which is cool, but not very cold (air conditioner is in another room and doesn't make my bedroom freezing). I feel so clueless about clothes and don't want to have to run out after the baby is born to buy a ton of stuff.

DD is 13 weeks, and lives in those carters sleep and plays. they are so easy to change her diaper, and keeps her warm enough (we have the AC on 24/7). We put her to sleep in those and swaddle her over it.
