When to sterilize bottles?

when are you girls sterilizing bottles and nipples?
im 35.5 weeks along and i already washed a lot of stuff (bedding, burp clothes, changing pad cover, socks, some clothes).

i know i still have to wipe down the toys and im supposed to clean the fabrics on stuff like the rock n play and car seat correct?

but what about bottles? is it way too early to get a start on that? i feel like theres things i need to be doing right now. packing my hospital bag is on my agenda for this week as well.

Re: When to sterilize bottles?

Honestly I wouldn't worry about the bottles yet. I breastfes DS, but with DD, I didn't sterilize until I came home from the hospital. You'll end up leaving the hospital with a bunch of the single serve glass bottles anyway, so you should be fine.

Re: When to sterilize bottles?

i think i might do that this weekend...i will be 37 weeks...
i just want everything done, and i dont wanna have to think of anything extra when we get home from the hospital...

i also plan on breastfeeding, but i plan on pumping as well so i will need the bottles.

what did you wipe down the toys with??

Re: When to sterilize bottles?

I wouldn't do it before .. I would wait until you are home...

I did it the one time before their first use then just soap and water or dishwasher everytime after that!
