How long does it take to get a CO?
Seller said they had CO's and title report shows that they don't have Co's but have permits on 5 things (dormer, expansion, bathroom, garage conversion and Central AC)
Q: How long does it take to get a CO in the town of Hempstead?

My father hired an expediter for CO issues in Islip and it took a few months. There was an issue with an extension permit because the permit expired and had to be redone from the begining. They can take awhile.

Usually a while. Also could be dragged out if everything isn't to code.
I have 2 things at my house that I didn't have COs for and one we wouldn't have been able to get. We closed without it...
