For the ones you listed I woudl go with the Murano or Equinox, IMO the others are going to be too small. While 1 child woudl fit fine, there isnt much room for 2. My friend has the CRV and its really not much bigger than a car.
We bought the Hyundai Santa Fe last year after looking at the 2010 models of, mazda cx7 & 9 , Equinox, Ford Edge, Nissian Murano and another one I can't remember right now. Loved the Santa Fe, still love it and got a pretty good deal for a new car.
GL!
This is one we haven't looked at. Do you know what the pricing starts at? My dad mentioned this car to me and I wouldnt have considered hyundai before but I see them alot on the road now.
Go look! I wouldnt have thought I would get a Hyundai either. but I liked the look then I started asking random people in parking lots if they liked theres, people I knew who had hyundais etc, no one had a bad thing to say! In fact I am finding alot of people who buy hyundais buy another and another etc. I think the santa fe can start as low as 18K but I am not sure, we have the highest trim , the only option it doesnt have is the navigation and we added a 10 year bumper to bumper warranty so I am not even sure what we paid! But I LOVE it!
ETA: I have a 3.5yo and a 1 month old right now but the size is great! I have plenty of room. I remember when I looked at the car I said that they really designed it well storage is where I would want it, and easy to reach, every space is used wisely etc!

Re: Lets Talk Cars (crossovers)
my complaint with the murano was the back windows...i just felt like I had limited visibility and it was kinda scary when I backed up or looked to change lanes.
my girlfriend has a rav 4 and swears by it. she loves it.

Re: Lets Talk Cars (crossovers)
I know it isn't on your list but I am going to put in a plug for it because I LOOOOOOVVVVEEEE mine... I have the 2011 Hyundai Tucson with all of the upgrade packages (navigation, panoramic sunroof, leather, heated seats, backup cam) and we paid $29,500. It is spacious and has a lot of trunk space. It drives great and gets decent gas mileage. The only minus I can think of is that the gas tank is a bit smaller than my Jeep had. A full tank will get you about 215 miles or so. I really love it and we planned for it to be our "family" car until we found out we are having twins. Between two car seats and our dog, I don't think we will fit so we will be purchasing either the Kia Sorento or the Hyundai Veracruz, which is the same car with a third row of seats.
Hope this helps!! Congrats and good luck!!
