Oulets on the backsplash
So I am getting ahead of myself
As I begin to think about having a new house we will most likely do the kitchen right away.
Is there an alternative to having outlets in the back splsh? I feel like it breaks up the pattern

Re: Oulets on the backsplash
i have seen them mounted on the fronts of the lower cabinets right below the countertop...
or ones that pop up out of the countertop...
or a lil shelf in front of the backsplash...

Those are all cool options!
Anyone have any of those?

I just wanted to show you our outlets on our backsplash. Because I feel w/ the patterns/colors we chose, they do blend in:

Re: Oulets on the backsplash
in our condo - the outlets are under the cabinets - it is nice because you don't see them but you have hanging cords
in our house we put few on the counter and theyjust blend into the backsplash - we keep a few appliances out an dplugged in - no hanging cords

that is one of the downsides to NOT having the outlets in the backsplash... if you plan on having and leaving things plugged in the cords can become ugly and in the way...
all the options i suggested earlier will become annoying. however if you DO NOT plan on leaving things plugged in then they are perfect solutions.

We have almost the same black splash and we have almond colored outlets and dark bronze outlet covers - It looks really good - Plus we have dark cabinets and black granite
