Since there are always posts/questions about bleeding

I wanted to share my story just in case others have had a similar experience. I wanted to put your mind at ease.

I am 11w3d. I have had on and off brown spotting throughout this pregnancy. I have low progesterone and the early stages of placenta previa.

So - like I said, mostly brown spotting. Well, yesterday, I went to the bathroom and there was dark red blood in my underwear. When I wiped, it was bright red on the toilet paper. I called my Dr, (Pillitterri) and the office told me to go to the ER since Dr P wasn't in the office. I wore a pad and could feel the blood coming out, not gushing, but dripping out on its own, not spotting.

Turned out everything was fine!! And the bleeding was caused from the placenta previa. So I just need to stay off my feet as much as possible. Which is pretty much impossible to do with a 3 yr old.

So, bleeding = not always a worst case scenerio
