What would you do?

I just went to the bathroom, and there were 2 very small brown dots on my underwear. Then I wiped and there were 2 or 3 small dots there too. I mean tiny though mixed in with my cm. Almost like the color of when your period is over and you see that brown stuff but only dots (sorry if TMI).

Do I call the dr? Im 8w3d.

Thanks!!!

It could be nothing but I would call the Dr. just in case. At least if it were me thats what I would do. Chat Icon

If you would like the peace of mind, definitely don't hesitate to call your doctor! However, if it helps to know- brown blood=old blood, which is not a concern during pregnancy. It is very common, especially early on. The only color that could be a sign of a problem is bright red. Chat Icon

Exactly!!!! Totally normal but the peace of mind never hurts. If you had a lot of cramping accompanying it, I'd be more worried. Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: What would you do?

Thank you so much ladies!!! I called him last night and he asked if there was cramping which there wasnt, but I did feel tightness after I went, but I think that may have been due to nerves. He said to drink lots of water and put my feet up for the night, and to take it easy this weekend. He wasnt really concerned, and said I could call my dr. next week if I need peace of mind but it is very common.

Thank you all for your advise and help!
