That's awesome! So far it looks great! Wait til you have the furniture in the house though. DH and FIL put the crib together on Sunday and I just kept thinking "OMG this is really happening!".

Good luck with the rest of the decorating. Keep us updated :)

Re: Nursery

looks great so far! so there was no closet in there before? the room we're considering using doesn't have a real closet (it's upstairs in a cape, and the closet is part of the eaves, and it's really just an unfinished storage area).

it had a huge closet actually, and there is actually another smaller closet on the opposite side.

the closet was the whole back wall, but the closet doors were a nightmare!! they were the sliding kind, but there was only a track on the top, so the bottom always got loose and they never looked nice, so my dad decided to add some sheet rock and make the closet slightly smaller (its still pretty huge tho) and add the bookshelf. its looking wayyy better...i wish i had a picture of the closets before, but i dont..

oh okay - it really does look great and gives me hope that we can add a closet. just seeing the progress pics makes me think that it HAS to be possible, even in a spot where there isn't already a closet. there's a nook that looks like it should be a closet.
