WWYD-Low paying job

I have been out of work since July and not looking really hard as DS was born and I love spending time with him. But we need $.
So a job popped up which would be convenient location wise, but less than half what I was making previously and I am way over qualified for it. Would you take it knowing you would get a few more hours daily with your DC, less stress than your previous job and bring home a little $. Or hold out and see what else comes up which will most likely be in the city and mean a much longer commute and more day care time but more $ as well.
We are trying to save for a house.

Yeah, I think I would consider it.

You have to really look at the "pros" with certain jobs, especially when you have a child.

I know I could be making more money elsewhere and have better benefits, however, my current employer also has very family-friendly perks like flexible schedule and working from home. I know if I go elsewhere that's gonna be hard to find!

I also strongly feel that if you are employed, this also helps you meet potential employers through your work, and makes you more marketable in general!

Do you have to pay for DS's childcare?
If not, I'd say go for it.
