How many weeks?

Hello All!
I'm new to LIF although I've been lurking for a while. My EDD is 12/20.

I'm curious about how many weeks everyone says they are? For example, I'm 6 weeks, but in my 7th week. Everything I read seems to go back and forth. I think I'm 6 weeks and that's what I would say I am, but everything I'm reading says "You're in your 7th week".

No idea why I'm obsessing over this. I guess I'm just afraid of Tri 1 since this is my 1st.

I usually say the weeks completed. Ex: today I am 22w5d so I'll say I'm 22 weeks (or if writing it out 22.5 weeks), even though I'm in my 23rd week.

I have more of an issue with months, because most people seem to consider every 4 weeks a month when technically it's 4.5 weeks. So, right now I'm 5 months either way but most people would say I'll be 6 months when I hit 24 weeks when I would say not until 27 weeks. I usually will say I'm "around X months" and pick whatever I feel like telling people, but again I only go with the months completed.

If you're 6+ weeks, you're in your 7th week because it's more than 6 weeks.

It made my head hurt at first but it makes sense.
I'm 14w6d, I'm in my 15th week. As of tomorrow, my 15th week will be completed.

Thank you so much! I'm so nervous today, I'm not sure why. I can't wait for that first sono. A week from Wednesday.
