36 weeks and dont know what to do...
I have been having pretty sporadic contractions at the end of the day for the past 2 days.... they hurt.. so I don't think they are braxton hicks... today.. I had one of those, and about an hour later, when I got up from my chair, I had stabbing pains in my cervix that I cannot even move... I was just stopped in my tracks.. i dont know what to do.. do I need to call the dr? Is it normal? with my first I never even had a braxton hicks contraction, and my water broke before I even went into labor, so I am at a loss for what to do ... any advice?

call ur dr. He might want to do an internal to check ur cervix and see if you are dilating

Sounds silly, but try drinking a lot of water to see if that helps.

Definitely call your doc to be sure.... I had the same stabbing pains at 39 weeks and it was nothing.... I actually had to be induced! But def make the phone call to be on the safe side.

I would the dr, you have nothing to loose however drinking water totally helps IF its not labor....
