1 Hour Glucose Test
Tonight at 5:30 - Any suggestions???? They said i dont have to fast just no eating in between the drink.

I stopped eating 8 hours before my test (it was in the morning). They had said if I was going to eat that day to stay away from anything sweet or anything with carbs (just have protein). Definitely don't eat 3 hours before the test unless you must.
Other than that, you either have GD or you don't. You wouldn't want to try to "trick" the test even if you could since it's really important for you and for the baby to know.

my dr. just told me to stop eating and drinking 1 hour before i drank the drink. and then obvi no eating or drinking for the next hour before they draw you blood.
i passed!

I ate breakfast an hour before I went for the test and I made sure not to have anything sweet the day before also. Not sure if it helped, but I passed. Good luck.

I was told that I didn't have to fast for the one hour but you must for the 3 hour.

that's the exact same time i took my one hour lol. i didnt have to fast either so i ate breakfast lunch and some snacks. just didnt eat or drink anything from the hour when i drank the drink. i passed!

I have to go soon. My dr told me do not fast or else you'll get the shakes like crazy, but stick to a high protien menu the day of
