Another team green question ( Well two questions)
Are you letting the doctor announce  or  ? Or asking them to let your DH do it?
I am going to ask them to let DH tell me but I'm not sure if that is the norm. Just wondering what everyone else is doing 
And anyone else a little jealous that DH gets to make the announcement to most of the family/friends ?? I really want to see/hear everyones reaction and I'm a little bummed I'm going to miss out on it

Since I had a section - the doctor announced it.
And honestly with my DD, I didn't think of telling the family.
Since my DD will be in the waiting room this time, we are going to try and have someone video tape it so I can see her reaction

I would love to do the waiting room thing but we never have anyone out there waiting for us
I have two other kids so my MIL will be home watching them for us, and my mom doesn't come until after the baby is born.
I had LONG labors with the last two so I would feel bad having everyone sitting around for 20+ hours waiting on me. Too much pressure

We are going to have the Dr tell us both at the same time and we are definitely definitely having him video tape the response in the waiting room. It was actually only after he promised to do that, that I decided to be team green. Seeing people's reactions was the one reason I wanted to find out before.

and then have DH tell our family in the waiting room!!
i was in the waiting room when my brother had his first and he was team green, and i thought it was sooo awesome when he came out and told everyone! i cant wait for DH to be the one to make the announcement!

The Dr. announced it to us with our ds and will probably do the same with this baby.
My dh videoed when he announced it to our families in the waiting room. We had a big crowd and their reactions were great!!!!

Ugh having no one in the waiting room to tell is really depressing me. A phone call will be so "blech" after the long wait!

Dr. will tells us together. My sister will be in the delivery room along with DH, not sure who will tell the family. When I was with my sister for her births, I did the notifications so the parents and baby could stay together and bond. Probably will have her make the calls.
ETA: Depending on the time the baby gets here, we might not have anyone in the waiting room....my Mom will most likely be watching my sister's kids since she'll be with us.
