Is there a knife in there?! TMI
I am just about 34 weeks and have started to get this "lightening bolt" of pain in my vaj jay especially when walking. It literally feels like a knife stabbing me down there and often leaves me stopping dead in my tracks. It is getting really hard to walk around at work and coworkers see me grimace in pain quiet frequently. IT happens more in the AM than at any other time. I have a doc appt tomorrow and plan to ask about it...but just wndering if I am the only one! TIA

I actually had that at 16wks. It lasts for like 2/3 seconds but its like WHOA. I had them a few times & then they just stopped. I did ask my ob about it & she had literally no answer. She said maybe part of round ligament pain. But as long as baby looked ok & my bloodwork was good she wasnt quite concerned.

yeah around that time is when that starts, its normal, but definitly ask ur doc, it will make u feel better to hear its normal. Unfortunitly it seems to get worse the further along and farther down babys head gets

Please don't quote me on this and I def agree talk to your Dr but my girlfriend had pain that sounded similar to that and she was told it was a varicose vein in her Va jay-jay. It did go away after the popped the kid out.
