What would you give..if anything
So my landlord and i are very close. We usually invite them up for my kids birthday parties
(even though its just family) bc they have
young kids too. We go to their kids birthday parties( usually not in the home) and we exchange gifts for the kids birthdays and for the kids art Christmas. Now her daughter is making her 1st communion in May.They are just having family go out to eat after the church and we are not invited, not that I expect to be AT ALL. So would you give something anyway? I don't want to give money. I dont really want to do a cross bc I am sure a family member will be getting that.Any ideas?

Maybe a nice communion picture frame? I have seen some at Kohl's or a card store.

i second the idea of the picture frame. i still have a picture of my first communion... and i'm no longer a catholic (non-denominational, now)

I think a picture frame is a great idea, maybe even a personalized one with the date from Things Remembered.

I have the same relationship w/ my landlord and we exchange for the kids bdays and Xmas also. I would definately get atleast a little something. I like the frame idea or even a small peice of jewerly. earrings?

My neighbor sent an amazing arrangement of flowers for me, yes I know they die, but I still remember it to this day, it the first time I ever got flowers!
