grass, leaves, etc sanitation pickup question...
We had a gardner come to our house yesterday to do a spring clean up of our yard. He put all the garbage bags of sticks, leaves, grass, etc. out front to be picked up. There were about 10 bags. I called today and Town of Hempstead sanitation said they pick that stuff up on Wednesdays. I am pregnant and cant move the stuff and my dh is working around the clock.... What would you do?

We are not allowed to leave the bags on the curb until the day before. Our township will issue a summon. No kidding!
Ask DH to move the bags. Then tell your landscaper to move your bags at another place next time. I did with mine!

I am in North Seaford. I was worried about a summons and about my neighbors. My dh won't be home until late tonight.  Maybe I will just hope everything will be fine.

mine have been out since saturday. the landscapers left them at the curb and DH was working so i left them there! we are not the only ones on the block with them out there, b/c the landscapers do a few houses.

Leave it for sure and if you get a ticket (doubt you will) then you fight it with that excuse.
