Charlie Horses--wicked pain that I forgot!
Seriously, it has been four years since I have experienced a Charlie Horse like I did this AM (basically last pregnancy). Wow!! They hurt!!!

omg they are the worst! i feel like i could get them everynight while being pregnant...
but if you flex your foot when you feel it coming on it will prevent it

I find if I stand up when its happening (not putting pressure on the pained leg) and let the blood flow better it goes away rather fast.

I don't know if this will help you but I drink right before I go to sleep and make sure I drink enough during the day. I was told Charlie horses happen more often when you are dehydrated. Again, I don't know if it's true, but it worked for me.

I read about this trick too and its saved me many a nights...not sure how i know enough to wake up in time to flex my foot but somehow i do...
