Feeling bag of water?
I am asking a question for my friend who is 35 weeks pregnant. She was feeling a lot of pressure so she felt inside to see if she could feel anything and said she was able to feel something soft like a balloon. Has anyone ever experienced anything like this before? Is it her bags of water? Thanks in advance! :)
Just wanted to add this is her third child but she never experienced anything like this before. She had to have her water broken both times in the past.

I would think she is feeling her cervix, not her bag of waters. You would have to be pretty dilated to feel the sack, wouldn't you?

she really shouldnt be poking around in there. I would call the dr. and let them investigate where the pressure is coming from.

I would have her call the doctor and tell them how she is feeling and what she did.
Hopefully she doesn't get some type of infection from doing that

Thanks for your responses, I relayed them to her and have told her to call the Dr as well. She has an appointment tomorrow.
