Do you wash the
hand knit blankets you get...just had my shower and I got 6 hand knit, home made blankets...NO JOKE!
Am I supposed to wash these ahead of time, and if so...HOW???

Yes u can wash them in cold and also put them in the dryer. I used all free and clear.

We wash our blankets on delicate in a cold wash, then dry it using the lowest heat setting.

We got one from mil and are gonna wash it first. i think on delicate s well.

I would ask the person who knitted them. My aunt usually gives me the wrapper that comes with the yarn so I have the care instructions.

I got so many as well!!! You can either lightly handwash them with delicate soap and hang dry them or wash them on a delicate cycle in the washing machine
