does my nursery need doors?

i know that sounds like a weird question but heres the situation. the room we will likely make the nursery is technically space for a dining room. it has two doors, one that leads to the kitchen, the other to the living room.

theres two longer walls and two shorter walls. the shorter walls are too short and have closets and windows so i cant put too many furniture pieces against it.

so my first choice would be to put the crib on one wall and the changer on the other wall. HOWEVER theres not enough room to put the changer on the other wall if we want to open to kitchen door all the way. so we were considering either A: putting it there and not opening all the way, or B: removing the door altogether and putting up a curtain divider. option C is putting both pieces on the other wall but based on how i want to decorate id rather not do that. keep in mind the door that leads to the noisier room will stay on .

thoughts??

Do you have any pets? That would be my only concern. In our case, we have 2 very nosey kitties and I will be terrified of them getting into the nursery while the baby is sleeping. If not, then I really don't think doors are necessary.

I would opt for yes, that you would want doors, especially for when the baby is sleeping in there, you mention it is off the kitchen.... but it is something that you could always add later - I am just thinking for noise purposes

I agree with this, also with smells from the kitchen, they'll stick to the bedding and things in the baby's room!
