Sex while pregnant---DH is such a jerk

I am almost 5 months pregnant with complications and still i try to make sure everything is taken care of. Dinner, ready, house clean, SAHM of DD all day every day and try my hardest to DTD every other night at least even though i don't feel the least bit sexy. DH has always loved sex, he could do it every night if he could but i just cant. I asked him not to wait until 11pm because im exhausted by then so we try to do it after DD goes to bed around 8.
This morning he brought something up to the fact that he feels like crap because we don't have enough sex . I told him most men would be a little more considerate of the larely pregnant wife. By the time he left i was a crying mess which made DD a crying mess because she hates seeing me cry but i couldn't stop it.

Does anyone's DH act like this about sex? No matter how much i do the sex is never enough. Today could def start over.

ETA: I have talked to him about how it makes me feel and that he never really compliments me to make me feel sexy and that i try hard to at least do it every other night even pregnant, he says sorry but it never changes, it's still always a problem. It used to be once of twice a week when i got pregnant and even though im tired i try hard to do it every other night. I thought that was an improvement.

if your DH is getting it every other night he is really lucky!! thats pretty good! DH Is lucky if he gets it once a week!! lol i am just soo not in the mood, i feel huge and gross! so far he hasnt complained, but it it goes over a week he usually attackes me! lol

I'm so sorry... I know how you feel.

My DH is kind of the same way with sex - never enough. But he's been pretty good through this. He does drop the random hint about how long it's been, but I think he understands what we've both been going through, which makes it almost impossible to make love (his broken clavicle, my aching back). I was actually hoping HE wouldn't want to have sex with the broken clavicle, but no such luck! lol. My only issue is guilt in KNOWING he wants more, but not being able to do that for him right now (or wanting at the moment! )

You DH definitely has to be more understanding about things - or think about hiring a nanny/house cleaner for you so you guys have more energy for "other" things!!

I hope you feel better... I'm sorry. I know it sucks.

Even when I am not pregnant we do not do it that often.

I agree w PP's. He should be GRATEFUL hes getting it every other day. Seriously.. My DH has been getting it MAYBE once a week. Im huge, im exhausted and just sooo not in the mood. He doesnt complain- sometimes a comment here or there that we dont do it enough but honestly..I think he isnt that into either because im so big and its just not comfortable for either of us right now.

Not to be harsh but your DH is being a HUGE jerk. You're DTD every other day while pregnant? What more does he want? Tell him that if he wants more sex hire someone ELSE to do all the housework

im so sorry... he is totally and completely out of line... we havent had sex since my bfp... it will be a month tomorrow... im also on progesterone and its gross... im still taking care of him tho... and he seems ok with it... i know that he misses regular sex but hes not making me feel bad about it... id be furious with him

First off He is being insensitive and selfish

My DH would be doing back flips all day long if we had that much sex, even when I wasn't pregnant

How dare he act like that when you are giving it to him a LOT more than most would.

His behavior is despicable and I really think that he needs to address his extremely selfishness BIG TIME.

wow once a week ..def put me to shame we havent had sex since we found out we were preg in oct....dh isnt into it he thinks it will hurt the baby (even though i told him a million times he is no where near the baby) but still i guess its better off that he isnt into it now that im five months i am soooo not in the mood.

You should def sit down and talk to him and tell him how you feel maybe if he knows how you feel about it he wont push as much for it and just enjoy the times he does get lucky.

tell your crazy DH that this girl and her DH haven't had sex since OCTOBER!!!!!

We haven't done it sine our BFP because we were too scared and uncomfortable due to spotting (we had a mc earlier in 2010)... and then later on I full on bled and dr ordered no sex. So NONE since OCTOBER!!!
