What's the point of it?

I was surprised it didn't truly "link" the registries... it's only a one way link and doesn't offer the option of purchasing it on Amazon for their cheaper price unless you list it twice. And if someone does by something from the "other" site, it doesn't remove it from Amazon. So, it's not truly universal...

I almost feel like deleting all my universal registry items... waste of time and confusing? What do you think?
