it's still early, is there anyway you can get another sono today? Did she do a transvaginal or external? that makes a big difference so early on.

transvaginal... the place she was sending me isnt open on Fridays for appointments... Monday was the soonest i could get
ETA: my mom suggested i go to LIJ... i just dont have the energy to sit in the ER right now

Ang, it's still very early and sometimes you cant see the fetal pole yet. I hope and pray that when you go Monday you see it, but dont lose hope.
This happens to many people and when the go back in a few days they see something.
Im so sorry you have to wait and go through this though.You are in my thoughts.

It's still early. A lot can happen over the weekend. The same thing happened to me when I thought Iw as 6 weeks. All we saw was an empty sac and it was measuring almost a week behind. A week later there was a hb and everything caught up. Don't freak out yet. Just breathe and relax.

as tough as it may be, it might be better to wait a few days bc I do believe its still early and you'll see something by Monday.

Try to stay positive. I know it's hard. But like other posters are saying, if there is a chance you are earlier than you originally thought, that would mean it is too early.
I went for a sono at 5wks 1 day and all we saw was a sac. When I went back at 6wks and 2 days, we saw a heartbeat. If you are earlier than 6 weeks (which could totally be the case), then you would probably only be seing a sac.
