Am I the only one not anxious for the baby to be born?
I want him to go to 40 weeks because that is the best for him. Yeah, I am uncomfy and tired and sore, but I REALLY want him to go full term. Stay in there and keep growing helaty!! And i want an April baby, that is my own selfish reason
So I ma quite happy that I am still all closed up and not having any type of contraction, real or fake.
I just always see posts saying they are so anxious to get the baby out. was just wondering if i am the only one content to be pregnant until 40 weeks? (40 weeks and 1 day well, then... I'll be soooo ready!! )

Re: Am I the only one not anxious for the baby to be born?
I was VERY content as a preggo with my DC1! The whole time! And I gave birth 4 days past my due date! the 40 weeks though, is just an estimate, you have to remember. Anything after 37 weeks is considered full term, for that reason. So if, at 39 weeks, for example, your LO decides it's time to come out, then that's probably what's best for him, and it might be worse to stay in there longer. Just have faith that that baby will come out when the time is right!

I am right there with you! Just keep cooking baby!!!! I am going to miss having this little bean in me. I love feeling it move and I love the hiccups and I love knowing it's there. I also don't want to complain because I don't want the baby to sense those vibes. Yeah, I'm dork.

I'm on the fence. I know this is my last pregnancy so I really want to enjoy every.second. I also know it is easier to take care of them in there than out here
Buuuuuuuut.......with each one weighing OVER 5 lbs, uncomfortable is an understatement!

I have no control over when this baby comes, but if she wants to appear this weekend, that would be awesome. Anytime after 37 weeks is fantastic. No need to wait til 40 weeks.

Re: Am I the only one not anxious for the baby to be born?
I felt like that with my first and had DS at 39 weeks. When I got to 39 weeks with #2 I was annoyed . I ended up having her at 40w2d. Now with number 3 I will be 39 weeks tomorrow and am already dilating. My doc. offered me an induction and I am contemplating it.
I think you get that done feeling a lot sooner after you already have one child because you are taking care of DC. You don't have the luxury to relax when you want or when you feel the need to. I also want to say that I am one of those woman that have easy pregnancies and I truly enjoy being pregnant and it makes me sad to know this is my last.
