Would you like to receive a newborn photo shoot as a shower gift?
I bought a newborn photo shoot for a friend as her shower gift. I wanted to get her something big off her registry, but all the big items were already bought when I went to look.
If it was me, I would love a gift like this. But, I'm curios what everyone else thinks.
So, is this something you would like to receive? If no, can you tell me why?

I actually am looking to purchase a maternity shoot for someone for their shower. She's overcome a lot of obstacles to be where she is and I thought it would be a great gift.
I think a newborn shoot is a great idea

I would like that but only if I knew for sure she didn't already schedule one. With many photographers you have to book early. I think I booked my newborn shoot around 15 weeks or so. So as long as you know she doesn't have one already booked and you can schedule it now without any problems I say go for it!

I would if I didnt already book one, assuming it is for a reputable photographer. A compromise might be a newborn shoot OR shoot usable in the first year if a newborn shoot is already booked, that way you cover your bases

i agree with the above poster about trying to check if they already booked one or not.
however with that being said...i would LOVE that as a gift! i think its a great idea. and actually....if they already did have one booked or couldnt get the photog on that date (which usually isnt too much of a prob since they do those shoots during the week) im sure the photographer would let them maybe use the shoot for a first birthday or something like that. maybe even a family shoot when the baby is a few months old

I would - I wanted to do this for a friend but ended up not bc I went in with other people. However if it was me and people knew I wanted it and did not have on e- I would truly love it!
I think it is a great gift
