Lawn Question

When do you start to seed the lawn?

We killed our lawn at our other home and it was a small area. Now we have a much bigger home. We don't want to get landscapers yet. Also, DH is very hands-on... even though he doesn't have a green thumb. He's a contractor, not a landscaper

Any ideas?

I just put some seed down in a small section this weekend. I am still seeing some frost so it maybe wise to wait until April. We plan on doing a full seed then - meanwhile I am getting the soil tested, we will rototiller the front yard in another week or so then prep it for seed. I might be a bit early but I have seen two other people start already.
