One hour glucose test
What did you eat the morning of the test?

Nothing, you're supposed to fast prior to the test.

Re: One hour glucose test
I was told to fast.
If you were going to eat, I wouldn't eat anything sugary, starchy or loaded with carbs. Maybe eggs?

I was told it wasn't a fasting test and specifically told to eat that morning, just finish eating an hour prior to the start of the test.
I was planning on having an egg or something.
HTH!

Mine either. I have mine tonight and have been eating fruit all day. They said it shouldn't affect it. I just cant eat after I drink the drink.

Re: One hour glucose test
I didn't when I recently took it. I stopped eating the night before. I didn't want to take any chances since I failed it the first time!

Re: One hour glucose test
My doctor said I didn't need to fast, but they had less false positives when you ate light/fasted. I decided to eat light since I wanted to avoid the 3 hour if at all possible. I took the test on a Tuesday am and on Monday I avoided overly sugary things. I ate a string cheese the morning of the test. Passed with flying colors.

Re: One hour glucose test
My glucose test was at 5pm. And I ate like a normal day. I'm sure that's why I failed. But I did go on to pass the 3 hour.
When I took it with DS my appt was at 9am. I ate a normal dinner but then didn't eat again until after the test and passed with flying colors.
