Re: Team green
I am due in 13 days and am team green. There were a few times where I wanted to give in and find out but now being this close I am so glad we waited. This is the first time we have been team green but I love hearing everyones guesses and can't wait to hear the big reveal. I will be team green with any future kids because its so much fun! I never thought I would choose team green but glad my husband asked me to do it.

Re: Team green
We did it with our first DC. It was so exciting not going and it was so funny hearing everyones theory of what we where having. The excitement when my DD finally came out and was announced that we had a girl was so magnificent!! But now with DC#2 we couldn't hold out...LOL!! We had to find out what we where having.

Re: Team green
I get nervous that the doctor/tech is going to slip everytime I get a sono. I think that there will be nothing better than finding out who this is after months of preparing! Good luck and stay strong!

It's been fun, actually! Everyone is so insistent in their opinions. I also wanted DH to have the opportunity to say, "It's a !!!".
Pretty much this sums it up...we wanted a good surprise...
Ditto for us too. We didn't find out with Mason so it was exciting to tell everyone it's a boy and his name.
I'm 22 weeks and figured when you get past the half way mark it's not as hard

rumor has it that boys give you beauty while girls steal your beauty.
This comment and the one about carrying a girl "all over" (AKA you got fat) make me . Seriously, WHY do people think either of these are ok to say to people? This is a stupid (and mean) old wive's tale, not science! We're team green and I want to kick the next person who says I look like I'm having a girl.
To answer the original question though , DH wanted to be team green a LOT more than I did. I just didn't care that much one way or the other so I went with it for him. I don't believe old wive's tales, but I do try to catch a glimpse at my sonos (not that I'd tell anyone if I did see anything). I think it was much harder in the beginning and now at 36 weeks it would just annoy me to find out early after waiting all this time.
I will say, it's much more fun to hear people guessing and I know the birth is a little more anticipated because everyone wants to know if it's a boy or girl AND we haven't told the name either. I think it makes it a lot more fun to reveal these things at birth. JMO!

Re: Team green
I'm going to be team green.. DH wants to know.. right now, I feel like gender is just the icing on the cake..because I'll be doing everything gender neutral
