Dr Hanauer patients at 12 weeks or more...
Did you have a sono at your 12 week appointment?
When I was pregnant with my son, I remember not expecting one becuase I was having the the ultra screen later that day, but she still did a quickie sono (although she didn't print a picture).
I have my 12 week apt on Friday and am hoping for another sono. My ultra screen is not scheduled until next week.
Just wondering

The same thing happened with me when I was pregnant with my son. I had my ultrascreen at 12 weeks and then had my appt. with her the following week. At first she wasn't planning to do a sono and tried to just check the heartbeat with the doppler, but had trouble finding it. So, she did a quick sono on one of the old, crappy machines just to make sure everything was ok. She gave me a pic, but it is just a blurry blob. I don't think they routinely do them unless they need to check something specifically.

15 weeks now and I did have a sono at 12 weeks because I asked for one. I had a miscarriage for my 1st pregnancy and even though my 2nd pregnancy went well, I'm still nervous this time! They actually did the one over the belly and we were able to see so much. It wasn't Dr. Hanauer, it was the PA Daniella but I'm sure if you just ask Dr. H., she'll gladly do it for you. If the nurse puts you in a room without a machine, just let her know that you would like a sono.
