Stripping membranes
Any btdt mommies have any experience with the dr. Stripping your membranes before or after your due date? Was it painful? Did it help speed things along?

Re: Stripping membranes
I had it done. Made me progress 2 cent. and have a lot of annoying contractions. Didnt go into labor. Was uncomfortable while he was doing it, he was so rough. But after it didnt hurt. Made me bleed also

Re: Stripping membranes
my doctor was going to do this for me on my due date, but she couldn't even fit her finger in there (I wasn't dilated at all). I heard it can potentially bring on labor within 48 hours, but I can't speak from experience

Re: Stripping membranes
Thanks for the input. I keep hearing mixed reviews about this... Anyone else had this done to speed along labor?
