BH at 38 weeks?

I am 38w3d and have been having small contractions all morning. Belly gets very hard and its uncomfortable but in no way "hurts".

Since my false labor experience I am so hesitant to think anything of these contractions now because all the nurses said " When you are in labor, YOU"LL KNOW!"

I just wish my water would break because I think thats the only way "I'll know"

I'm in the same boat as you. All I want is my water to break, then I will definitely know.

I get them very sporadically, and I'm very crampy.

When I had real contractions, they were painful, and I felt them in my back. I know what I'm feeling now are not the "real" thing. Just practice.

I'm 38 weeks today and I hate this waiting game too!

you definitely will know!! those def sound like BH...a lot of times, your water does not break, they break it at the hospital

We're in the same boat!!!! I cant take this waiting anymore! 2 cm dialated...they checked today...did you have a pelvic exam yet?

i am hoping for next week! At least LO will have me on vacation on his bday since NYC schools are off next week! His bday will always fall on that week

Yup, had an internal on monday and I was still 2-3 cm and almost fully effaced.

I have come to accept the fact that I think he is coming late now

DH is off of work next week too (no school) so it would be nice to have LO then but I just don't think it's in the cards for us.

The Dr's office called to confirm my appt next Friday and I told them I will do everything in my power not to be at that appt lol
