My old neighbor (in apt) had one and when it spun it felt like the house was coming apart.

Last summer we went away to the Divi Pheonix in Aruba & they had them in the apartments. I just had to try it, worked very well except you had to take the clothes out right as soon as the cycle was done or it would leave them a tad damp. That could have also just been the extreme humidity in Aruba.
All in all, not bad..but not my first choice.
