We have been to The Bistro of Red Bank a few times and the food is always good. They have a regular menu and a sushi menu. They also have wine but only by the bottle.

We have also been to Red but only for drinks. They play really good music though.

We have also gone to McLoone's Pier House in Pier Village in Long Branch. It is right on the water. If you like sushi Sawa steakhouse and sushi is suppose to be very good.

thanks! I had a feeling you'd be the only one to answer.
Been to McLoone's in the summer. We may be going to Peking now. We were thinking Brioso's, but we go there a lot.

Figured if I'm going to a good sushi place I can't settle on California roll and DH and another guy aren't fans.
We were also considering Moonstruck in Asbury Park, but I don't think they take reservations.
Just trying to get more ideas than the usual. I like Metropolitan in Freehold, but we've been there a lot too

If you're considering Asbury, I have been to Stella Marina which is on the boardwalk and is pretty good. I have also heard that Langosta Lounge is really good but I haven't been their yet.

There's a place in Belmar, Vivas , which is yummy and if you bring wine they will make sangria (red or white) for a small fee. It's really yummy.

In Bradley I've been to Citricos which is BYO Italian. I went for my birthday last year with a group and it was nice, yummy. It's pretty small in there though.

DH and I don't eat sushi so that is why we usually go to the Bistro.

There is also Bensi in the Old Bridge shopping center that always seems packed. Also, Buena Serra in Red Bank.

We really don't go out much because we have no idea where to go..lol

There is also Cheesecake factory but the wait is insane.

Ify ou're ever looking for ideas ask me. My parents are always out at different restaurants. I try not to ask them if it's me and DH b/c they're more pricey. LOL!
The stuff by the shore is nice, but when the weather is nice.
I think we decided on PF Changs by the mall b/c they take reservations

I've been to the Salt Creek Grille in Rumson a few times. I think the wait can be long, not sure if they take reservations.

Red in Red Bank. The sliced Filet Mignon on creamed spinach on garlic toast appetizer is like a meal. Delicious. My husband and I love it. Their mixologist at the bar is very good for infused martinis. For casual burgers with the kids, Barnacle Bills burgers or Nauvoo Grill's burger Tuesdays are a favorite. Sogo sushi in Red Bank is a good choice.
