Re: Does the paranoia ever...

it's worse this time around for me than it ever was the first time.

the first time, i had not a care in the world......maybe i just didn't know any better.

this time, i'm still worried.....even about a stillborn baby. I don't know why...I can only chalk it up to loving current DS so much and realizing how precious life is.

Re: Does the paranoia ever...

I don't think so.

I was so looking forward to being pregnant again so that I could relax and enjoy pregnancy knowing what to expect.

But getting pregnant with twins was not in the game plan and it is such a different experience...I feel like I have never been pregnant before.

Re: Does the paranoia ever...

nope. I still get worried about the kind of things that 'could' be wrong. There's no merit in such fears so I try very hard to be strong against such negativity, but it's hard. I think all pregnant girls face this kind of nonsense.

Re: Does the paranoia ever...

I thought the beginning was so bad...I think it has gotten worse.

I was so good in the beginning with eating and going to the gym.
Now I can't stop eating and I am so afraid of going to the gym.

Lately I am sooooo paranoid that my water is going to break early...or that I will go into early labor. I guess that a bunch of posts on here about ladies loosing or giving birth to their babies so early has got me thinking the worst.

I am afraid of falling down the stairs...I fell down the stairs (I did with DD - and was fine).

UGH...I hate this feeling Chat Icon

Re: Does the paranoia ever...

I'm 12w tomorrow and I have an appt, I am so scared they won't find anything when I get my sono it drives me nuts. I have no symptoms which is why I feel so crazed. when I saw the HB for the first time I was like whew and then it was worry mode x100. I know I have no reason to be but I think it just can't be helped.

Re: Does the paranoia ever...

My next appt is on Monday (I will be 17w) and I am so nervous. I follow this pattern where I am beside myself with nerves leading up to an appt..just so afraid of hearing bad news, then I am calm for a few days following the appt, then the nervousness starts to build again until the next appt. I was the same way with DD. I wont stop worrying (to an extent) until the baby is in my arms! then it starts all over again!

Nope. You know this, you just forgot Chat Icon Chat Icon

You won't be happy until you have that baby in your arms, and then we have a whole new set of worries.

It never ever ends Chat Icon Chat Icon

I almost think it was worse with Tyler because I had Jack already and knew how amazing it was to have a child, if that makes sense?!

I worry but since I started feeling kicks I've settled down a lot. I figure if little one is kicking me, everything is ok.

I have been feeling much better now that I feel her kick every day. Before when I was not able to feel her I was worried all the time. It will get better! Chat Icon
