Baby Toiletries
What toletries should I stock up on for the baby (including recomended brabds)?
I figured: #Pampers Sensitive Baby Wipes #Johnson & Johnson Head-to-Toe Baby Wash. #Johnson & Johnson Baby Lotion #Boudreaux's Butt-Paste for diaper rash #Vaseline Petroleum Jelly #Johnson & Johnson Cotton Swabs #Wet Ones® Antibacterial Hands and Face Wipes #Boogie Wipes® Saline Wipes
Anything else I'm forgetting?

That all looks good! My mom also got me a big bottle of Johnson & Johnson cornstarch; she said she used it everyday on all her kids and none of us ever had diaper rash, not even once.

Re: Baby Toiletries
Different things work better or worse for different babies, everything is trial and error till you see what you like and what works best on baby so I wouldn't stock up on too much of any one thing cause the brand may not work for you.
I only use Sensitive wipes for both my kids. I use either Pampers or Target's brand, depending on if I can get to Target or not since they're cheaper and I think just as good as Pampers.
I didn't like J&J bath products and lotions and I had a ton. I found it to be very drying on DS's skin and it turned out he had extremely sensitive skin. So now I use California Baby, it's pricey but the only stuff that doesn't make his eczema flare up.
Desitin if he's slightly rashy, Triple Paste if he's super rashy. Aquaphor for his face after bathtime.

Re: Baby Toiletries
I'm just bored so I visited this board...I hate J&J too...just dries the kids out! You probably won't use Boogie Wipes for a while. I like BJs brand wipes best. I never used regular vaseline. I do use creamy petrolium jelly for diaper changes. I don't really use diaper cream much. In 2 1/2 years I haven't bought a tube...still have what was bought for my shower. You may want a gentle lotion though. Aquaphor is the best ever!!!! Ilike the tub better than the tube.

Re: Baby Toiletries
I agree J &J is awful and is full of parabens and phthalates -- I use either California Baby, Burts Bees, or Method. J & J smells great, but that is about it!
