Avise for plans when a kid is sick *Update*
So, my sister and BIL have 5 kids. Yes, there's always a chance one of them is sick. Happens all the time. Anyway, they invited us over for dinner a few weeks ago, but I declined. I was exhausted that Friday. Between being pregnant, picking up Mason from daycare, etc... I just wanted to put my feet up.
I got the whole guilt trip, blah, blah. Nothing I could do and my parents even understood me cancelling as much as they'd love for us to get together more.
Anyway, come to this week we were asked to come to dinner Friday night. I'm feeling well and in my 2nd tri. Still tired by Fridays, but whatever. DH just asked we do it on the early side since we like Mason to go to sleep around 7 - 7:30ish. They do live close and we said fine, we'd love to. I get a text from BIL this morning that my niece is running a slight fever, but acting fine and one of my nephews said he wasn't feeling well. I called and left a VM cancelling saying that Mason is getting over an ear infection plus, I'm pregnant and with the snow and him being in daycare I don't want to take the chance. I meant with the snow I already had to use a personal day. Now I get a VM that my niece has a slight fever, but totally seems fine so she'd still love for us to go. Thoughts? Am I wrong for canceling. BTW... we saw them last Sunday they were over with my parents.
Update** so my sister called and my nieces temp went up and she thought it's best we cancel. Good... no guilt trip and we'll reschedule. LOL

Nope, I would definitly cancel and say you will reschedule when everyone is feeling better. Not worth chancing it now.
