HPT after IVF treatments or FET

I got to thinking last night about this and wanted to know what others have gone through.

I am going to do my FET soon and was wondering when you took a HPT after a fresh cycle or an FET cycle did you ever get a negative test at home but a positive beta?

I have read that it is very common with IVF treatments but was not sure if anyone had experience with that on here.

I actually know otherwise...that it is not common to have a negative HPT and then a positive beta with IVF (in a healthy pregnancy) unless of course you start testing at 7DPO....

IVF is not like any other treatment and you know the EXACT day of conception....implantation usually happens on day 6 (average 5-7) after ER (which is day 21 of a cycle) and from that point on your body produces HCG hormone....

Beta is always scheduled on day 14 which is 14DPO and at that point most ERs want to see beta of 50 and above..many HPTs can detect HCG 10 or even lower......

If you start testing too early, you might get a negative or a very light positive...which of course doesn't mean that you ar not pregnant....BUT if you are 14DPO and get a negative HPT chances are you are not pregnant....

Of course there are chemical pregnancies which might start out with a very low beta and negative HPTs but in a HEALTHY pregnancy negative HPT and then a positive beta is uncommon.

after my fresh cycle i tested at night at 7dp5dt. it was very very very positive, even for nighttime after a normal day of eating, drinking, and peeing. i wasnt planning to test so i didnt hold my urine or anything either. my beta was the next day at 8dp5dt and it was near 200 but i originally got pregnant with twins. based on the beta and the darkness of the test i prob wouldve tested positive at like 5dp5dt

my personal experience with DS was a tested wed morning BFN and then beta on Friday was 126. For my last FET I didn't test since previous experience but now with this fresh I'm tempted.....

At 13DPO i tested after my first IVF and got a a negative test,and then tested again at 14DPO and still got a negative, that day my beta came back positive, albeit it was very low, 12(chemical) but it can and has happened.
