Has anyone taken *down* a vinyl wall decal?
I've wanted to get one for a long time and was very close to buying one... But someone told me they took one down from a kid's room and wound up having to sand and repaint. 
Has anyone taken one off their wall and if it wasn't a problem, can you share your source with me?

I've heard this too.
Certain decals will ruin the walls and other's won't. I have several in my girl's rooms and they come off with no problems.

My Blik decals came down easily -- like they were never there.

Both DC have quite a few, and I've rearranged many of them with no ill effects on the paint.
Are they sure they had a "wall sticker", and not an actual sticker that isn't designed to come off?

There are two different kinds- some say you can remove them no problem, others are permanent. Maybe they thought they had gotten the removable ones?
